Zemenay, a women who is very passionate about her craft, participated in and successfully completed her vocational training. Thereafter, Birara Genet helped secure an employment opportunity for her at Sewasew Production/Design.
Recently, Zemenay's performance at the company has received positive feedback. The company stated, “We have 33 employees, all of whom are women. What makes Zemenay special is her unwavering commitment, ability to multitask, flexibility to adapt, and quickly learn new skills. She is a model employee and was promptly able to secure a promotion and see a meaningful change in her salary after only a few months."

Helen, a 30-year-old mother who had always dreamed of achieving more for herself and her family, successfully completed her vocational training through Birara Genet. Excelling in leatherwork, she quickly mastered the techniques for crafting beautiful pieces of leather art.
Following her training, Helen secured a job opportunity at Design for Decent Work. This position has allowed her to utilize her newfound skills and creativity in a professional setting. Through her dedication and hard work, Helen is now able to achieve what she once thought was impossible. She can provide for her family in ways she never could before, significantly improving their quality of life.

Nurit Mohammed's story is truly remarkable. Previously unemployed and struggling to support her family, she transformed her life through training support provided by Birara Genet. After completing her Electrical Installation training, Nurit began repairing used and damaged cooking stoves and even started producing new mini stoves. Her newfound skills now allow her to support herself and her family. Nurit's journey is an inspiring example of what can be achieved with proper guidance and support from Birara Genet.
Kelmwa, a dedicated mother of a special needs child, faced numerous challenges in supporting her family and meeting their basic needs before she had the opportunity to participate in our training program. However, her life took a turn for the better when she joined Birara Genet. Since completing her training, Kelmwa has been able to effectively utilize her newly acquired skills.
She is currently engaged in machining and repairing used clothes from her home, which not only provides her with a source of income but also helps her support her family more comfortably.
Additionally, she has established an embroidery business at her residence, further expanding her income opportunities. It is truly inspiring to witness how Birara Genet has made a significant impact on Kelmwa's life and empowered her to overcome adversity. Her determination and hard work are commendable, and she serves as an excellent example of what can be achieved through our training programs.
Etetu Ayalew had been struggling to find sustainable employment to support herself and her family, taking on various jobs near her residence. However, these jobs were not sufficient to meet her family's needs. Everything changed for Etetu after she participated in the Birara Genet training program, which equipped her with the necessary skills to enhance her employability.
She successfully completed the sewing technical skill training through our partner, Productivity Training center. As a result, Etetu is now able to work from home, creating new clothes and repairing damaged ones. This newfound skill has not only provided her with a stable job but has also significantly improved her living standards. She can now support her family without constantly searching for odd jobs.
Etetu's transformation is truly inspiring and showcases the positive impact of our training programs. It serves as a testament to the effectiveness of investing in our employees' personal and professional development.
